The magic of your own island
A private island wedding near Ibiza is the most exclusive celebration you can imagine. Tagomago Island and the pristine shores of S'Espalmador — these are venues that redefine what a destination wedding can be.
We are among the very few planners in the Balearics with direct access to these private islands. The logistics are complex, but the result is a wedding that exists outside the ordinary world — a celebration your guests will speak about for decades.

Beyond exclusive
Why couples choose island weddings
There is no road in, no neighbours, no world beyond the shoreline — just you, your guests, and the most beautiful stretch of Mediterranean you have ever seen. The boat transfer itself becomes an experience — champagne on deck as the Ibiza coast recedes and your private island appears on the horizon.
Then there is the visual drama — 360-degree ocean views with no buildings, no roads, no visual clutter of any kind. The contrast between your intimate gathering and the vast seascape creates a sense of scale that is genuinely cinematic, with photographers describing the golden-hour light as the finest in the Balearics.

Islands within reach
Tagomago Island
Tagomago is a 148-acre private island just 900 metres off Ibiza's northeast coast — close enough to see the mainland yet entirely secluded. The luxury villa sleeps ten in five en-suite bedrooms, with a swimming pool and helicopter pad for VIP arrivals. The main terrace offers uninterrupted 360-degree sea views and transforms into a spectacular ceremony and reception space for up to 80 guests.
The boat transfer from Santa Eulalia takes approximately 20 minutes by speedboat, and we coordinate every element — yacht transfers in staggered groups, on-island catering with refrigerated storage, generator power, professional sound, and overnight accommodation for the couple and their closest family.
S'Espalmador
The uninhabited island of S'Espalmador sits in the narrow strait between Ibiza and Formentera, a designated nature reserve with crystal-clear shallow waters that barely reach your knees for dozens of metres from shore. The powdery white sand and luminous turquoise lagoons feel more Caribbean than Mediterranean — an utterly unspoilt setting for intimate beach ceremonies.
S'Espalmador weddings are necessarily intimate — typically 10 to 40 guests — and require careful planning due to the island's protected status. We manage all permits through the Balearic environmental authority, arrange boat transfers from Ibiza Town port or La Savina in Formentera, and operate a complete leave-no-trace logistics plan with portable power and compostable service ware.
Yacht & island experiences
For couples who want the island experience combined with the glamour of a superyacht, we create hybrid celebrations that move between boat and shore. A typical route departs from Ibiza Town port or Marina Botafoch, sailing toward Tagomago or south through the Es Freus strait to Formentera. Ceremony on a private beach, cocktails on deck, dinner under the stars — timed so sunset falls during the first course, typically around 21:00 in high summer.
These nautical experiences are entirely bespoke. We work with Ibiza's leading charter companies and have access to vessels from sailing catamarans to superyachts with onboard chefs and full galley kitchens. Catering is prepared fresh on board or loaded at the marina before departure, and the sea becomes your venue, your transport, and your most spectacular backdrop.
Because every detail matters
Why choose Bliss Ibiza?
Island weddings are logistically the most complex celebrations we plan — and the most rewarding. Every element must arrive by boat: catering, flowers, furniture, sound equipment, generators, and sometimes even fresh water. We have the relationships, the maritime logistics experience, and the permits to make it seamless.
We take on a limited number of weddings each year, ensuring every couple receives our full attention. Our operations team manages boat schedules across multiple vessels, coordinates weather contingency plans, and runs advance supply runs the day before — remaining on-island throughout to ensure every detail unfolds as planned.

Insider knowledge
Season & weather
Island weddings require calm seas for boat transfers, making June through early September the optimal window. These months offer the warmest water — typically 24 to 27 degrees — and the most reliably calm conditions, with wind speeds rarely exceeding 10 knots. June and September bring slightly cooler temperatures and fewer competing charters.
We monitor marine forecasts from 10 days out with a formal decision protocol: preliminary assessment at 72 hours, a firm go or no-go at 48 hours, and a mainland backup venue on standby throughout. Booking 18 to 24 months ahead is strongly recommended for Tagomago, as peak-season dates are often reserved two years in advance.
Transfers & logistics
Boat transfers are the heartbeat of an island wedding. The crossing to Tagomago from Santa Eulalia takes roughly 20 minutes by speedboat or 35 minutes by catamaran; S'Espalmador is approximately 45 minutes from Ibiza Town. We coordinate fleet logistics — speedboats for the bridal party, larger vessels for guests in staggered waves — with precise timing and a standby tender for last-minute changes.
All infrastructure arrives by sea the day before: generators, commercial refrigeration, furniture, portable restrooms, and fresh water reserves. Transfer costs for a typical Tagomago wedding run between 8,000 and 15,000 euros depending on fleet size. We manage the complete supply chain and remain on-island for dismantling the morning after.
Accommodation & dining
Tagomago's villa accommodates the couple and up to eight guests overnight in five en-suite bedrooms with air conditioning and sea views. Remaining guests transfer back to Ibiza after the celebration, with the last tender departing around midnight. We arrange hotel blocks in Santa Eulalia or Es Cana at preferential group rates and coordinate morning-after return boats for island brunch.
Island catering requires specialist planning: menus are designed around what can be transported by sea and prepared on-site with portable kitchen equipment. We work with chefs experienced in remote-location cooking — expect fresh seafood, wood-fired dishes, and locally sourced Ibizan produce, served under a canopy of Mediterranean stars. Catering costs generally start from 150 euros per head.

During peak season — June through September — conditions are overwhelmingly reliable, with fewer than five days per month seeing wind speeds above 15 knots. In the rare event of a weather change, our backup plan activates seamlessly.
